I just cant wait when it fills up. |
Today’s story is really a follow-up to the day I mowed the lawn. While walking around the property, my wife suddenly discovered—shocked—that I had accidentally mowed over six bushes she had planted. She got very upset and began blaming me for it all. Honestly, I hadn’t seen them in the tall grass, so there was no intention behind it—I simply didn’t notice. Still, hearing about my mistake made me feel quite uneasy.
Up until that moment, the day had been going great. My wife and I had a lovely time—we went shopping together, I helped her unpack everything, and I even set up the new pool we bought. But all of that seemed to vanish in an instant.
I still struggle to understand this way of living, where I only seem to be treated with respect when I withdraw emotionally from the marriage. It’s confusing—when I try to truly cherish and uplift my wife, it feels like my sincerity gets thrown back at me.
